Nowadays people are starting to trend toward Seaside and Rosemary Beach.

That's been a trend for 15-20 years now.

As many have said, not every vacation spot is trashy. If you can’t have a good time with friends and family at any beach from GS, Destin, or beyond then it is on you, regardless of the people you happen to be staying next to.

Why is everyone worried about traffic?
Don’t drive in or out on Saturdays
Go to store right when you get there
Other than going to dinner 2-3 nights I never leave the condo

This guy gets it. I traveled to and from work and hit Rouses and the Cove Friday this weekend during Hangout fest with 40k people down here. Had zero problems with traffic because I avoided peak traffic times. It’s not rocket science. My parents never have trouble with traffic and always visit on Holiday weekends. Avoid the check in and check out peak hours and dinner rush hour and you’re fine.

do you recall the address or the name of the house? who did you rent through? The Grammont is owned by, Aaron Guidry, a former WMHS grad who did well playing music in Las vegas.

Relax on the Beach manages many of the houses, and one of the owners lives there. They sorta upset the good ole boy network when they came in a few years back, and it has improved things substantially.

i'm neither a homeowner nor am i related to relax on the beach.

Fort Morgan is where it's at.

This is what we usually do. Rent a house there and you're a 25 min drive to all the good stuff. But you are in a quiet neighborhood when you want some downtime. With 2 kids now, this is perfect for us.
