I bet there are exactly zero black people that go to your church.

I attend mass and an hour of Eucharistic Adoration at least once a day.

I’ll go to church when the Catholics release the actual biblical texts from the locked away chambers of the Vatican.
Until then, I find it extremely convenient for the church that “the Bible” says to give preachers 10% of your pay each month. I get the idea that if we had the real bible, there’d be a whole lot of things that were completely made up by religious powers for financial gain.
Not saying that I don’t believe in a higher power because I absolutely do. It just seems that there’s a lot of things unexplained in the Bible that seem to always shed the church in a positive light. There’s also a lot of huge, unexplained gaps in Jesus’s life.
Most people are sheep and don’t care about these things. They also don’t go for the purposes of worship, but rather as a networking opportunity & social scene.

I used to go to the Mormon Church until I found out it was all BS.

So it reads like you can go and be a powerful encourager of change for the better. I totally agree btw. That's why I don't business at worship.

It has been over ten years since I've been to church.

I believe that a man named Jesus was on this earth approx 5000 years ago and changed the course of history in a very profound way. There is certainly ample written to prove his existence. Without his resurrection there is no church but many people saw Jesus after he was killed so my faith is based on facts. What I do not get is why do non believers ridicule believers so vehemently. I have never understood it

I go every Sunday to get my hair parted down the middle by the priest.
