Go? Yes. I’m an Elder in my church and both of my sons are pastors. Still need to take a well off every now and then.

Yes, I attend a couple of times a month. This mornings message was about doing good deeds and that if you sow good deeds in your life God is more likely to reap his rewards in your life. Think about it, basically it was a motivating message to help those around you and try to make your community a better place and if you do that, good things should follow you into your life.
How can anyone argue against a message saying live your life in manner that involves helping others and bettering your community. That’s a good message, whether you believe in God or not. Believe in karma if you will, it really doesn’t matter. I’m not sure how anyone can be against or belittle a message like that, but I have no doubt that some of you will.

Hard pass on all that bullshite.

I don't go like I should. But I don't want to be a hypocrite. I believe in the Bible, Jesus, God and I have been Saved. But until I can totally do as I should, I don't go to church

It’s a great message, but it’s pretty much common sense. I don’t need a man quoting a book to tell me that doing good for others can come back around to me.
Do you also follow the part where it says you should stone gay people and sleep in a separate bed from your wife when she’s on her period?

Almost every Sunday. Church isn't for everyone and not just any church is for all, you have to find the right one for you. My time in prayer at church helps bolster my serenity so I don't get out and pistol-whip the screaming shite out of slow-arse fricktards who are holding up traffic by texting on their fricking phones.

If you're talking about Christianity then you're mixing your Old Testament with the New (the coming of Jesus fulfilled prophecy and charted a new religious philosophy which made the Old Testament primarily more of a historical text). Don't worry though, lots of "Christians" do this as well.

you will never be good enough or do exactly like you "should". That is what grace is for. Do you take a shower before you take a shower?...get clean before you get clean?...sounds ridiculous doesn't it?...God is thinking the same thing...He is just waiting on you to turn back to Him...even if is over an over again...that is what true love is..that while we were "still sinners" He died for us...
I am a Christian...went to church yesterday morning...I don't make it every Sunday..but when I do...I leave feeling blessed and ready to start my week....been visiting this particular church since the first of the year...never heard the preacher mention 10%...or preach politics....I HAVE heard a great deal about love and mercy tho...

People also forget that jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the law, but to fulfill prophecy. But he did.

Spirituality and religion don't necessarily go hand in hand. I find more answers to my questions alone in the natural world.
I 100% believe church is good for some people, but it's not for me.
