1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Matthew 7 Verse 1-3

That's the reason to get saved by Jesus. That is not the reason to go to church. Sadly, 99.99% of church goers don't even know why we have church meetings.

Define "saved by Jesus"

I'm at church right now. If you don't go to church you go to hell. Unless it's duck season

Grew up in a very religious Southern Baptist household and never had an actual choice of what to believe.

Now that I'm older, I've grown out of church and honestly my life is exactly the same. I try to be a good person.

No disrespect meant to church-goers, but it is amazing to me that religion still exists in a relatively developed and intelligent country.

Unfortunately, most people get indoctrinated at an early age and know no better.

I can tell that you do not have an open mind enough to think of the possibility of everything happening by chance. There is not enough time in eternity for this to all be a cosmic mistake. You only listen to the modern approach of "enlightenment" without actually considering the evidence.
