I don't get it. I don't think I looked at it for more than about two seconds before I rationalized the dog looking backwards at you. Maybe it's because my dog turns to look that way all the time.

dunno if it's been answered but it's b/c of the eyes
and how the folds make it look like a deformed dog
we use unconscious devices to establish patterns of recognition and we've evolved to recognize those "eyes" as a face
