As a person who is currently paying child support, let me say this. I don't mind paying. We have 50/50 custody. I am in the private sector and she works for the government. Our salaries are not even close. Child support as is interpreted in this instance is to level the quality of life of the child regardless of where they are residing. I do not want my child worried while at my ex wife's house about where the next meal will come from, etc. while also enjoying whatever opportunities she gets to do.

With that being said, how to fix the issue is simple. if the mother has a live in boyfriend (not married) then that income should be counted towards that household in the calculator. There are enough stories out there of people not getting remarried to keep the reported income down. Second there is a clause that the mother does not have to enter the workforce until the child is enrolled in kindergarten, close the loophole, cap it at 5 years per child. A woman can have 3 kids from 3 different people, when kid 1 hits kindergarten that child support should decrease, regardless of if she is still a SAHM.

Just my 2 Cents

I have done it, it is a lot harder to regulate moisture, i find that root rot happens very easily. I would suggest raised beds with cardboard as a base layer, then your soil. cover with fabric/mulch and that should eliminate most of your issues
hopefully they were flying to the Caribbean, landed and then lost their flight privileges.
It is nobody's first choice, hell people can't even tell you what they do great. Its just okay food.

I have grabbed a few out of my pirogue coming back from bow hunting. it can get a little scary making sudden jerks. Bring a Go Pro, strap to your head and then enjoy the bloopers at a later date.

It opened today. anybody hitting up the spillway this week?
I have a 16 Gauge, i will take them off of your hand
Several things to consider, first is fuel. if running a NG system then check with gas company about capacity. What most people don't realize is that if everyone on the street has a ng generator then after the storm volume may decrease. Second is to size properly, you can do this by getting the peak demand on your meter. Third is the transfer switch, most people who have issues is the transfer switch causing it.
I will be heading up that way to Magee MS in a couple of weeks so we can set something up.
Crossing the Amite River Bridge on 12 headed westbound. Its bad enough that the denham springs exits can't keep up with the demand, but you have cops hanging out for easy tickets.
I always thought the reasoning was to prevent political retribution.

i hunt panther swamp, i love it, because its quiet. I hunt the same places that i used to walk now i just ride. no different that when i use my pirogue.
the transmission/torque converter issues, can be mitigated with a true tranny flush every 50-75k miles. is it ideal, no but the thermostat inside the transmission opens at like 170 degrees f. so your fluid isn't hitting the cooling reservoir until then. the heat is what is killing the fluid and the torque converter.
