It's actually a pretty decent college town and a young person can have a good time. Numerous decent places to eat, a college with 2 to 1 female to make ratio and a downtown area perfect for barhopping.

If you settle in downtown with on a street that starts with North or West, it's an awesome place. Walk to a different bar and resteraunt every night. I think it's better than Covington easily and on par with Mandeville. But yeah it's not NO or BR.
