Every banner DKE puts up now has to be pre-approved by Greek Affairs.

Another old guy who doesn't know what he's talking about.

The answer is LSU already doesn't let them participate in events or official recruitment. For all practical purposes DKE is "kicked off campus."
My cousin went through official rush two months ago, DKE was part of that.

Thus, LSU can't make them leave their house.
They can and have several times. As recently as 2005.

Eh LSU is a government funded state school, so there are first amendment issues at play.

the 1st amendment doesn't apply to them if LSU has control over them. just like it doesn't apply to Kaep if the 49ers told him to STFU ETA: correction, it applies, but it doesn't protect u from the consequences
LSU being a public institution can't stop them. Just like it can't stop protestors.
However, it does not extend to private entities and memberships.
Any employer or business can decide to dissociate itself from you due to conflicting views.
The Greek system can choose to kick them out.
Businesses can decide to not hire the members.
But they can't stop them.
Also, I recently read about the lady in LP that put lights on her house in the shape of giving the middle finger, and the government said it was free speech. How awesome is that!!!

Dke, your mission should you choose to accept, is to make a sign roasting F. King and the administration for destroying gameday tailgating.
good luck and god speed

LSU can't do shite to DKE and they know it. They play nice with each other and toe the line, which usually works.
If LSU wanted, they could shut the house down tomorrow. Back in the 1980’s, the Fire Marshall inspected the house and shut it down for violations. DKE was off campus until they made extensive renovations and got the okay to move back in. The administration could use the BRFD to do it again.

Huey gave them the land back in the day, at least that's what I've heard.

Their new sign should be “yes means no. No means prison time” in light of current events
