Why would a male dog need a tattoo that he was neutered? Also, why put the Mars symbol on a female dog? Wouldn't they use the Venus (female) symbol?

Uh, why is a tattoo necessary to indicate that the dog is neutered? Pretty sure you can tell by the lack of balls.

It's not for the dog dumbass. It's to let female dogs know that it's ok for him to cum in them.

I've only seen it on female dogs, but shelters tattoo them in case the dog ends up back in a shelter, they know it has already been spayed. The tattoo is usually just green line on the stomach.
