It's not nearly as great as you think it is. I've lived in three states and Fla. was my least favorite by a wide margin. Most people I know that moved there left, including me.

I can't think of one reason why Florida is relevant other than retirement community, refuge staging area, and white trash capital.
L.A. is becoming irrelevant in its own state and has little relevance to the world.

The area listed as Irrelevant is probably far more relevant to the US than just about any of the places listed on this map as being “relevent”.

There was a guy who thought Florida, Texas, New York, and Los Angeles were relevant, and the rest of the country was not. Relevance was not defined, its factors delineated, their values explained. Clearly certain criteria were not valued. It was just an opinion. This guy made a map.

It's not. It's just basically a giant Baton Rouge with even worse traffic and fake and snobbish people everywhere. If it didn't have the beaches and beautiful scenery in town and in the background, it wouldn't be worth a shite as a place to visit.
