Those neighborhoods looks shitty anyway, with all of their front facing garages

I don't mind it for the rain as much as it is awesome not to have to hop into a boiling hot car every time I leave the house.

Why do people say "not to mention..." and then mention it? Dumb as shite.

Right? Not to mention it's verbose, on top of being contradictory.

You have not lived until you have a 3 car garage with only two drivers. I am never owning a primary residence without the 3 car garage

Bought a house with a garage 5 years ago, never going back. It's worth it for the security alone.

I don't have an attached garage (most farm houses around here don't) and it doesn't bother me.

What I couldn't do without is my 40'x60' shop. It's my sanctuary of guy shite. My SxS, 4 wheeler, dart board, about every tool known to man and marijuana.

Many people who have garages fill them with so much shite they park their cars outside.

Lived without a garage for 5 years. It truly is a pain in the arse.

Among the complaints:

1. Have to remember to move the car the night before street sweeping days or you get a ticket. Paid a lot of those.

2. Have had my car attempted to be broken into more than once resulting in dents in the car. I never keep things in my car so I would have rathered it been unlocked and let them find nothing.

3. Shoveling in the snow.

4. I usually had no trouble finding a spot, but on the days when you did it would suck having to circle the block.

But I have a garage spot now, thankfully.

People with garages full of stuff and their cars filling up the driveway has always bothered me. Maybe not in nice neighborhoods where there's tons of driveway space and the houses are large, but it looks terrible driving through those cookie cutter starter home neighborhoods where you can barely see the homes and all you see is everyone's cars.

And it kinda defies logic, because I feel like the sun would destroy the finish and dash/seats. Not to mention it'll be hotter than Hades when you get in.

We have a garage, but the house was built in 1993, and apparently everyone drove Honda Accords back then.

My wife has a minivan, and I have a Tundra. If she pulls in at an angle, and almost touches the front wall, her van will fit. It's the most useless garage ever. I looked into upgrading it, but we might as well just buy a new house.

The other extremely dumb feature of the garage is it has 15 foot ceilings. I have contemplated building a loft up there, or using it to fly remote control helicopters or soemthing.

I agree with that.

Had a garage to park in for a really long time now and would hate not having one
