Went get groceries Sunday and came back home, it was raining its arse off. So nice not to get soaked while unloading the car.
Not to mention, don’t have to worry about criminals rummaging through your car at night. Or hail damage. Don’t see how you nola baws just leave your car out in the street at night.

dude you of all people should know, garages are for the garage gym not the car!! ##teamstreatparking for life.

live in a good area or if in a big city, get a decent enough job where you can live in a community that pays for private security or is gated.

Just like murder and property theft, it's part of the charm of living in such a progressive place

If you can’t afford a garage you can’t afford a lot of shite to store.

The garage is where I keep my stuff. Not my car.

Silly.

Yeah, my garage is half workshop, half homebrewery, and half toddler playroom.

When it's raining I can just back up to the door and unload without getting too wet.

I also don't live in as wet or crime-ridden of an area as New Orleans.

Don’t have a garage and can’t remember the last time I’ve had to step out into rain or into a puddle of water

Oh...these are lady concerns. I thought you were gonna talk about a place to store all of your yard equipment and tools. Yeah...my half of our two car garage is filled with that. My wife, who would be upset about groceries in the rain, parks on the other side.

You have an ounce of awareness of your surroundings and check the weather before making a grocery run. It's not like you get to park in a garage at the store. I have a garage, and I'm not particularly inclined to get soaked, and have bags gets soaked, to then drive home.
