Never understood what they are for. If you want to frick buy a chick a drink at the bar (or hell I guess a prostitute), but why pay a chick just to hang out with you? Unless I dont get the concept all wrong.

I can think of three right off the top of my head:
1) fired from work if arrested for solicitation
2) Robbed at some point
3) Some type of STD or worse

It's basically prostitution without saying it outright. I've known guys that used some more high end ones and it was all legit. I've also heard about a lot of bad experiences (arrest, robbed, etc).

I never said they weren't but if that professional is with 6 dudes in a night compared to the bar skank with you the one night than i'd say your chances go up with the professional.
