Mine was playing pickup basketball, a torn Patellar tendon.
My knee looked so gruesome that the EMT said I'd never walk normally again.
Fortunately he was wrong, but the surgery and rehab were no joke.

Shitty genetics, gout.
Other than that, I tripped carrying 2 cases of beer up the back stairs in West Laville. Deep bone bruise in my shin. This “beer related injury” had me on crutches for a couple weeks.

Was cleaning a glass bowl with soap and water. It was slippery, so I was holding it almost like a football while scrubbing it. Squeezed a lil too hard I guess, crushed it & sliced a couple tendons in my pinky. Annnnd that’s prolly the most puss injury that’ll be posted but it’s all I got lol

I’ve been lucky as far as broken bones go. I’ve had four concussions though playing sports. Got knocked the frick out once.

Got a finger caught in a brake press. They sewed back on but it looks fricked up probably would have been better to just leave it off.

Goofing around in shop class on a day we had a substitute.
Put my hand into the bandsaw, damn near cut the end of my thumb off. Snuck out, found my brother in study hall, and skipped out to our buddy’s dad’s clinic.
Needless to say, he didn’t play ball and ratted us out after calling me a dumbass.

Worst bloody one was when I was about 11-12 and fell down in a neighbors yard. My knee struck something unknown to this day and caused a pressure wound which took 22 stiches to close including 5 inside. I could see my kneecap.
Biggest pain in the arse was a dog tripping me one morning while jogging the LSU lakes. 91% tear to my rotator cuff and recovery after surgery was a bitch.

Dragging a pig a few 100 yards that I shot at night and couldn't get to the spot on the 4 wheeler. Tore the meniscus in both knees and when I had surgery on the 2nd one I got a blood clot/pulmonary embolism that almost killed me. In a close second getting T boned with no seatbelt and waking up to someone dragging me out the car.

I was running way more and way faster than I should've been. Was hopping into workouts with D1 runners and one day about 6 miles into a run, i felt something pop in my knee and had to limp 4 miles back to my dorm. I didn't tear anything, but i could hardly walk for 2 weeks and had months of physical therapy to fix whatever it was.

Playing CF in HS, dove for a fly ball and the second baseman did as well. His knee busted my ribs, bruised lungs.
I played the next week because I sure as hell didn't want to lose my position. But breathing sucked.
Lots of broken stuff, cuts etc. But the worst was that rib injury.

Slipped on icy steps and flew in the air only to land on the edge of one of the steps. Had three displaced rib fractures. So much pain. To boot, the doctor didn’t like the look of my appendix on the imaging so I had to get an appendectomy three months later.

Torn groin on a hard jump cut my senior year. Cost me a big time D1 scholarship. Biggest reason I don’t fault these kids for opting out of meaningless bowl/exhibition games.
