How Did You Get Your Worst Injury?

Was cleaning a glass bowl with soap and water. It was slippery, so I was holding it almost like a football while scrubbing it. Squeezed a lil too hard I guess, crushed it & sliced a couple tendons in my pinky. Annnnd that’s prolly the most puss injury that’ll be posted but it’s all I got lol

Got a finger caught in a brake press. They sewed back on but it looks fricked up probably would have been better to just leave it off.

Goofing around in shop class on a day we had a substitute.

Put my hand into the bandsaw, damn near cut the end of my thumb off. Snuck out, found my brother in study hall, and skipped out to our buddy’s dad’s clinic.

Needless to say, he didn’t play ball and ratted us out after calling me a dumbass.

Worst bloody one was when I was about 11-12 and fell down in a neighbors yard. My knee struck something unknown to this day and caused a pressure wound which took 22 stiches to close including 5 inside. I could see my kneecap.

Biggest pain in the arse was a dog tripping me one morning while jogging the LSU lakes. 91% tear to my rotator cuff and recovery after surgery was a bitch.

Dragging a pig a few 100 yards that I shot at night and couldn't get to the spot on the 4 wheeler. Tore the meniscus in both knees and when I had surgery on the 2nd one I got a blood clot/pulmonary embolism that almost killed me. In a close second getting T boned with no seatbelt and waking up to someone dragging me out the car.

I have carpal tunnel in my jerking off hand bad enough to warrant surgery

Motorcycle accident

Slipped on icy steps and flew in the air only to land on the edge of one of the steps. Had three displaced rib fractures. So much pain. To boot, the doctor didn’t like the look of my appendix on the imaging so I had to get an appendectomy three months later.

Torn groin on a hard jump cut my senior year. Cost me a big time D1 scholarship. Biggest reason I don’t fault these kids for opting out of meaningless bowl/exhibition games.
