I Googled SEC football forum and found GSB. I lurked there for a couple of days and asked to join so that I could post. My first post made fun of Butch Jones after he botched time management and let UGA run out the clock in Knoxville.

I was on one of the pay sites. People kept mentioning Tigerdroppings and it would immediately get deleted. I came over to see what it was all about. Sometimes I wonder if the other site is as active as it used to be, but not enough to re-up my subscription.

My granddaughter had just begun her freshman year at LSU (subtle brag - she was a Golden Girl - no pics) I was griping about getting banned from the AOL chat room I was using at the time.
She told me about TigerDroppings. Been here ever since - never been sorry - this is a great board. I've visited others from time to time, but nothing compares to the good ol' TigerDroppings.

Around 2007 I think I started trying to find in game chats on LSU baseball. Lurked for a year or so before joining. Before that LSUSports.net used to have chat on their radio broadcast and there may be about 10 folks or so.

When the fight happened in 2011 at Bogies, I signed up for an account to try and keep up with all the news.

Posts here would show up in every search for anything local—restaurant, mechanic, doctor, etc. I thought y’all were assholes and frankly kind of intimidating, so it took a long time before I even started lurking. I eventually created an account because I wanted to be able to upvote, but never intended to post. Hence the really stupid username.
