By way of LSU > NFL. #72 is one of the nicest, funniest people I’ve ever met. We used to cut up in keyboarding class.

I was curious as well, and didn’t realize it was that small of a list. If you wanted anonymity you could have just said “professional baseball” and it would have been the end of it.

2 Cy Youngs Edited to add: I went to secondary school with some very wealthy kids who I have no idea what their trust fund or FLP situation looks like. Wealth.

I was going to guess highland park class of 06, but wiki says he has 3 Cy youngs.

He was the Youngest in my class , I was the second youngest

Engineering major

Got in a startup in Denver.

His options vested and he retired at like 27. He now does comedy in Chicago and has no stress or anything.

One girl married a guy who did well in the oil business.

Ironically most of the smart kids in my class weren’t as financially successful as the grinders who started their own companies. We had a number of kids who became doctors, lawyers and engineers and they made very good incomes but some of the B and C students who really did well made bank from opening tire and muffler stores, pizza franchising and a distribution business.

Notably absent, upon first glance, is Greg Maddux.

I then realized he won 4 Cy Young Awards. Truly incredible.
