How can a cop with a radar gun take himself seriously?

ETA: is it safer to pull a guy driving 71 over on the Basin Bridge or is it safer to just let him drive on through and not cause a traffic pile up?

not to mention, if anyone pointed a radar gun at a cop, they'd get shot real quick.

Getting pulled over for no seatbelt by a cop on a motorcycle is always fun.

Every single day there's a slow down on the East bound Bonnet Carre in the morning, it's a LSP giving a ticket just over the west levee of the spillway.

I-10 Spot that LSP causes traffic backups

Good old Capt. tells them to not worry about the people staring at their phone, and instead, go after people doing 8 over right before rush hour

There should be laws that make it illegal to pull over people for traffic violations during peak rush hour times.

You cause rolling roadblocks from onlookers passing by.

A few years ago, I was driving on I-95N. When I crossed the border from GA to SC, there were cops on the first overpass with radar guns pointed down on the traffic crossing the border. So shitty.

Yup, I drive the basin bridge daily and when a cop is parked running his radar gun there ends up being a traffic jam from folks trying to get over/slow down. If they didn't get over he would probably pull them over for not getting over which would then create a jam as well.

Well to be fair, if there was a law making it illegal to pull someone over that would be a law that was being enforced.

Do you expect them to do real work? They would much rather hide somewhere than actually help anybody.
