It is funny when you use an alter account from 2008 to go after Tiger Fred.

FTR - Houston is a poopstain and Dallas rules!!!

the city as you're driving through is nondescript office buildings, strip malls, apartment buildings, and the like all randomly thrown together.

Much of that is because of the Texas law that neighborhoods have to have access to the highway which created turnarounds and feeder roads. Our off the highway real estate is just more valuable than other places because it’s convenient instead of a complete cluster frick at every red light near a freeway.

Judging Houston or Dallas for that matter based on view from the highway is a huge mistake

Both cities suck. Move to another state.

Lots of meth and bumpkins in the bad areas so that's what it gets known for. There is some money tucked away in there, though.

Just read through this entire thing...

It's obvious that there's only one way to settle this argument.

"Truck Nut Tiger Fred" vs "The pretentious Pickle" fight at a venue of their choice (but we all know it'll be Sonic)

Honestly, I do like the immediate area. However, there's a significant amount of crime happening way too close for comfort. I live in a gated community and still feel the need to have security cameras. That was never a thought in my mind when I was in Austin.
There's constant break ins, robberies, drug bust, shootings, you name it. Just this morning I saw posted in our neighborhood group that a van pulled up to some kids walking to school trying to lure them in. That was in the front of our neighborhood, a mile away from my house. Yes, it can happen anywhere but I've never seen things happen as frequently or as close to home as I've seen since living here.
That's my number 1 hangup with Houston. That and it rains every damn day.

You are so full of shite.

Now if you want to start making comparisons, you probably have never been outside of your trailer in livingston parish.

You also claimed to have driven more than 30 miles for a dinner at 5:00 and made it in 22 minutes. Yeah keep believing your stupid bullshite.

Dumbfrick. Keep sucking on truck nuts

Yeah, I think this guy is full of shite. I've been to both cities.. And have friends who live in Houston.

I think parts of both cities are a little too generic, but at least in Houston you can get REAL Mexican food.. Not the tex-mex bullshite we have here in Louisiana.

As a sports fan, Houston has the Texas, Astros, Rockets and Comets. Then they have the University of Houston, which is the best you CFB and basketball there. Rice has a good baseball team.

Dallas has the Cowboys, Mavs and the Stars. And for college sports you have what? SMU & North Texas is in Dallas right?

Any city you are in, there is a crime factor. As someone who has been to Houston on several occasions, but never lived there, I never felt like I should have been concerned or felt unsafe. Like any city, it's all about the location you are in.

As for as the weather, it's not fricking Seattle, it doesn't rain there every day. Houston and Baton Rouge has similar climates. To day it rains every day is stupid.. That I do know.

Is this where a bunch of rednecks equate Houston and Dallas to their suburbs where they visit their middle management relatives twice a year?

The Woodlands is no utopian place as residents want you to believe. This joint is run by crooked cowboys in county government and Mexican Nationals.

Wut???

Now in terms of Mexican Nationals in The Woodlands, I can't complain about them. All the ones I come into contact with are loaded and seem to have their sh*t together more than people I lived near in Louisiana. They may speak Spanish to each other, but they speak English better than half the down the bayou trash in South LA
