Sounds silly but i actually started putting the tracking fobs in my vehicles for this reason.

If it gets stolen, i can know immediately where the vehicle is.

Too many vehicles get stolen now days so it just makes me feel better knowing i could give a real time up date as to where the vehicle is headed

I have a small fireproof one for important documents. Nothing valuable to a thief, but it would be a pain in the arse for me to replace.

Do you think the perps had any idea they’d get $180k in loot,

They burned the truck so knock that number down to $50k.

I bet thieves use driver accounts so they can see orders in their target area.

I had a weird experience w/ ordering uber eats after dark one night and kind of thought twice about doing that again.

Uber would do the right thing in this new age of wokeism.

i think its most likely they were just following the uber guy around like they do to steal fedex packages.

cant see how or why the uber guy would benefit in any way with being part of it since he wouldnt know ahead of time if they would even get anything out of it

What we need is more gun control, so more people can't defend themselves. Just like this kid.

Moral to the story, get your lazy arse up and get your own food.

Especially if you're ordering fast food...

Which I find totally fascinating that people actually do this...

Right off woodway near Houston Country Club. Certainly an expensive area, but Houston has crime everywhere.

It's at worst the third nicest neighborhood in Houston along with River Oaks and West U/boulevard oaks

i guess you could park around the Tanglewood or river oaks, turn on uber eats and wait for a high end address. Call your boys to tell them the address.

it is 1am so you can get to anywhere in Houston in 20/30 minutes.

Maybe I am jaded but this would not surprise me if this wasn't an inside job with the teen knowing about it. Seems too neat and perfect.

WTF is wrong with you? What does a super rich teen have to gain by having his mom and dads shite stolen and a truck burned?

they’d get $180k in loot, plus a $130k getaway vehicle? Good as a bank robbery with much lower risk

I understood it to say $180,000 total. $130,000 for the truck- WTF kind of truck was it? And $50K for the home goods.
