This shite is getting close to home

The article didn't come up, I just saw the pictures. But I am going to take time & learn this now.
So this is a person, with a dick, who wants to be identified as a woman right? And those people are transgender? What are you called if you once had a dick, but you had surgery and now have tits and a twat?
Gay people for example, I know before they are even born, their sex organs can develop, but in their brain, hormones I guess... can not sync with the sex organs so someone can have a penis, but they will end up being sexually attracted to other men (same with women).
But in this situation. If this person with a dick feels like a woman, does that mean he/she likes other dudes? Or can you have a dick, feel like a woman, but are sexually attracted to women? How does all of this work?

Some trans gendered are attracted to the opposite sex and others not. Some dudes that identify as women are attracted to women other are attracted to men. Bruce sorry Caitlyn Jenner identifies himself as a woman but is also attracted to women. Basically he wants to be lesbian. I do feel sorry for these kids. It must be hell to be an adolescent and feel like your sexual orientation and your gender are screwed up.
I try to imagine if heterosexuality was some how abnormal how fricked up I would feel about myself and my urges growing up.

Unlike most transgenders (s)he actually looks like a female. Albeit a female who does a terrible job at attempting to look pretty.

I thought this thread was gonna be a bunch of arguing about accepting a BJ from it after a few beers. I am disappoint at all the political crap. Its not nearly as entertaining.

Rando is trying his best, but the OT doesn't feel like playing along today.

Seems like everyone just wants to argue over if its right or wrong rather than discuss the real issues. FYI... if I was at a bar with a good buzz and it approached me with a BJ offer I cant fathom saying no. This assuming I did not know that it.. is an it.

I just can't help but think that you'd know after a few minutes of speaking with them. But who the hell knows after a few drinks.

You would hope so... but I have met some rather attractive women with voices you'd swear belong to a man but after extensive research they did in fact have a vagina.

See above. There's an OT 8 tranny up there.
To clarify, I'm not touching a dick. But I'm pretty sure 20 beers deep me isn't turning down a blow job from something that looks like a pretty girl with shitty taste in makeup.

Just as a response to the overall thread:
Lot of who gives a shite opinions (which I tend to agree with) and plenty of disapproval of the direction this kid's life is heading (for his own sake) which I also agree with.
For those taking the 'live and let live' approach: I agree, but at what point do we draw a line? This kid must've went through hormones etc. well before being 18, which is terrible. The boy was likely just confused, and this will most likely come back to bite him in the arse. I don't have a link on hand, but there is a correlation to higher suicide rates and trannies.
The idea of 'live and let live' is great and all, but a line has to be drawn so as to prevent people from harming themselves or others. Arguably, this boy's parent(s) hurt him by encouraging this line of thought. If the boy had made these decisions as an adult, it would be one thing, but that's not what happened here.
Additionally, as others have already pointed out, the reason this gets attacked so hard is the idea by the left that this is NOT a mental disorder. It obviously is a mental disorder. The left is doing the equivalent of trying to call a shovel an apple. This does not justify bashing the kid, but it calls for getting him some help, as well as help for any other person dealing with this rather than trying to push it as normal behavior. That is dangerous because it could lead to people making foolish decisions without thinking clearly.

I agree that 18 is the line for me.
As for the suicide rates, there seems to be no major improvement in trans suicide rates pre and post hormones/Op. It's roughly at 40% for them, which is awful.
Here's the major issue: there are Dr Mengeles and Frankensteins out there that want to play with the gene pool and overdiagnose the condition to anyone who is greatly confused. I think these kids should go through puberty in the opposite sex to be certain.
The problem is liberals use examples of successful cases as the norm and say that they don't have a mental disorder... they say they were born in the wrong body enough to mutilate it and possibly kill themselves? How is this not a mental disorder? We need to take this disorder seriously, get them in mass amount of therapy early, and don't allow them to frick up their bodies before they are emotionally mature.
If they turn 18 and we find that the best course of action is transitioning, then ok, but there are other possibilities than getting an 11 year old on hormones and getting them a total sex change at 16.
