My ex-wife is from Minnesota. I spend several Christmases there, but don't recall it being extremely cold.

I've experienced 5 degrees below zero in Oklahoma.

I've been skiing in Colorado when it was really, really cold at the top of the mountain, but don't remember the exact reading.

The hottest I've been in is Palm Springs, CA. Played golf when it was 114 degrees once.

Hottest: Pick a random day in the summer being the chemical mixing man when we’re laying by cotton or out in the middle of a field fixing a pivot tire.

Coldest: On a ranch near Casper, WY with a -35 wind chill helping a guy feed his cows.

Coldest: Top of the mountain at Arapaho Basin. Thermometer said -5. Wind chill was probably -15.

Needles, California: 108. The whole town was not open. I heard that everyone stayed inside until the sun went down.

Rawlins, WY for cold

Been in over 100°F a bunch, wasn’t particularly paying attention as to which one was worst.

Houston and Nola feel like 20 degrees colder than what the temp displays due to the humidity.

That is definitely true. 40 degrees with the wind blowing in south LA feels like about 20 degrees feels in the Midwest.

Hottest: San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It's freaking murderously hot there!
Coldest: Yellowstone Nat'l Park in February

The coldest I've ever felt, though. was Mardi Gras 1987 in Houma, LA. Temp was 39~41 but humidity was near 100%. There is absolutely NO way to keep the cold from settling deep into your bones with that kind of humidity. Those who say NOLA and Houston feel 20 degrees colder because of the humidity aren't wrong.

Washington DC in the summer was the hottest I have ever been. There’s zero shade in that concrete jungle!

The coldest I have ever been is a tie between Sante Fe and Memphis. Both times I was playing golf in January. It was about 35-40 degrees, but the 15 mph wind numbed my entire body to the bones. It took me a hot shower and hours after that to feel thawed out both times.

Hottest is here by far.

Coldest was Laramie, Wyoming. Lived there for about a year and got to experience 30 below zero. That shite hurts.
