I wish some hotel chain would work a deal with Netflix or YouTube TV or something and have it in every room. It's 2025 and you're brought back to 1997 every time you watch TV in a hotel.

When was the last time you stayed in a Marriott?

They have Netflix in 95% of their rooms, at least

I might be a young one here, but one time I stayed at a hotel, and I didn’t even turn the TV on.

If I wanted to watch “something” that was what my phone was for.

If TV is of THAT MUCH importance to you please evaluate your life.

I actually don’t like it that they have a sleep timer set for default. For some reason I enjoy sleeping with the TV on. Always have to be careful of what’s on because sometimes it can be incorporated into my dreams.

Yeah, like that Jessica Fletcher dream. It was Murder She Wrote up in them panties.

This. I stay mostly in Marriott properties and all of their in room TVs have the capability of logging into your personal Netflix account. No YouTube TV but definitely Netflix.

Just buy a fire stick or Google play and take it along.

This works for some apps, until it doesn't. Because a stick isn't classified as a mobile device, Hulu will see it as a home address location change, which makes it unusable. Netflix and Amazon Prime still worked fine, but at least Netflix is on every Marriott tv I've used in the last ten years, which makes it moot.

Once I checked into a hotel and asked if the inroom porn was disabled. Desk clerk called me a sick bastard.

Alot of these TV's are locked into hospitality mode so you can't use your own device in the HDMI. Luckily there is a button code combo you can plug into the remote that it gets operating like normal.

In a Marriott tonight, if you go to YouTube you can sign into your YouTubeTV account by going to the bottom left icon.

When I was 19-20 years old and the drinking age was 18, if you picked up some sleaze at the bar. There was a place called the Buena Vista Motel. A real high class place. $10.99+tax per night.

Some rooms had 2 TVs. 1 for picture, and 1 for sound.

True story.

Hiltons have both YouTube and Netflix. Think there are some other options as well.

This forum? Definitely some sort of Jimmy Swaggart Inn or an hourly rate roach motel.

I’m at a Fairfield Inn right now. Not a top of the line chain.

Room has two 50” TVs, guide button and sleep button on remote. And Netflix.
