Hot sauce...Do you leave it out or put it in the fridge?

So my wife and I are having a debate this evening and need a little input.
I got home about to eat dinner and I can’t find the hot sauce. Last night my oldest left it on the counter and forgot to put it back in the fridge. She found it this morning and threw it away.
So our debate is should hot sauce be refrigerated or is it fine to put it back in the cabinet. I think it was fine to leave out.
Do you leave it out or put it in the fridge?
I know this is super important to everyone so thanks in advance.

Hot sauce is to not be refrigerated. At least the right stuff.

I used to put all condiments in the fridge. Then I went to grand isle with my in-laws and no condiments ever go in the fridge because they used to have to turn the fridge off.

The only one I ever keep in the fridge is Frank's Red Hot. All the others are over by the spice rack on the counter.

Restaurants don't put hot sauce in the fridge. Or ketchup, mustard etc.

Hot sauce does not need refrigeration. I have 6 different kinds in my panty and I use them all the time. Never died, not even once.

Louisiana hot sauce is my favorite now days, I used to buy hot sauce from a local guy but he has stopped making it.

Tiger Sauce has been my go-to lately, but Louisiana is great too. Those are the two that I grab most often. I think Tabasco has a little too much vinegar for a lot of things.
