No but now it makes sense why so many people seem to randomly honk at me while I’m walking, it’s some kind of sport I guess.

If you would put down the phone we wouldn't have to honk.

When my friend is walking his dog in our neighbor hood, I will pull up slow behind him and honk as I drive by like I’m saying hey! Except I honk and wave the opposite direction and make them look like idiots for waving and I’m not waving at them. There is a group of us who try to get each other and it is a fun.

I like to honk at cows in a field. They’ll look up and they never turned their heads to watch you with consistency. It’s in increments. Yeah I do that.

You should only honk the horn to call up the cows.

They're unstable, they're used to people being sheep, and don't expect the fight.
And I have more ammo, in a larger caliber, than they do.

If more people would have honked at road retards, or flashed at left lane campers 15 years ago, we could have enforced social norms that Gen X already know. But nobody did anything, they assumed someone else would fix it.

When I was at LSU while driving past the golf course I liked to honk when dudes were in their backswing on the tee box.

My horn is not working and all I know is it's not the fuse (not a car guy).

Man, I really miss my horn.

while riding in back seat of car while traveling on long trips we would point at the back tires of cars along side of us to see if we could them to pull over to look.
Of a young kid this to me today I would be pissed but then just have to laugh and know karma got me again.

Any of you guys ever prank people like this?

You know, not really, When I am hurtling along at 70 MPH in a 5000 pound death machine capable of destruction and injury to innocent people and myself playing pranks has never entered my mind....but you do you boo. I am of the opinion, and again its just my opinion, that getting from point A to point B without incident and injury is the primary goal of operating a vehicle and there is a significant amount of social contract and trust required to do so...but you do you boo....

If one is from the south and raised right they know the only time you use your vehicle's horn is say hi to someone you know....never to express your frustration. Unfortunately far too many people in the south today, born and raised, are no longer southern and were not raised right....

I still wave at just about every oncoming car on 2 lane roads. Have always done it and always will.

One of my ex brother in laws, (sisters ex husband) who was pretty twisted and died at 55 with 5 divorces, 7 estranged kids and a serious cocaine habit. was an over the road truck driver when I was in my late teens and early 20s. I would go on the road with him when school and work allowed to help drive a little and help unload cargo A LOT. As I say he was a pretty twisted dude to begin with and his life ended when he was relatively young and his personal relationships were as fricked up as a soup sandwich. He thought the HEIGHT of hilarity was to hit the Jake Brake when he saw black folks walking down the side of the road. This was Richard Pryor and George Carlin level comedy to this sick soul. He'd see a black person walking and say "watch this" and when he was alongside of them he would hit the engine brake and laugh hysterically. The first dozen or so times he said "watch this" to me I would look in the mirror and seldom if ever did I see any reaction at all from the person walking. I brought this up to him and he said I missed it....that they always took off running like they had been shot at. I really think this fricking idiot believed that. Every time I see a sign at a city limit about "No Engine Brake" I think to myself that this moronic ex brother in law is at least somewhat responsible. I know he wasn't because he did not impact the planet in any memorable manner but I still think that him and idiots like him are part of the reason those restrictions exist....
