This is because the Catholic Church considered money-lending (with interest) a sin for a thousand+ years. That meant Catholics literally were not allowed to own/operate banks. So the Jews filled that gap in the Western world.

Abrahamic religions ban charging interest.
Jewish people took it as more, don't charge eachother interest. Thus they filled the banking needs of society

I think it started way back when they walked to Canaan and told everyone living there it was there land and fought a bunch of wars to claim it.
Then whenever they were conquered they refused to honor or accept any of their conquerors gods and constantly rebelled against control.
They were some of the earliest groups of people to stare down oppressors and say “you’re not better than me”.

I did my part to bridge the divide by dating a Jewish girl in college. She was hot and stacked.

To them the scripture was entrusted and a relationship with the living God of all, they mostly made up their own doctrine which supplanted gods word while claiming this was worship. God allowed evil nations to punish them in hopes the relationship would be restored, yet it will take the Messiah and his iron rod to do this.
Basically claiming God rules your life while living selfishly, especially at the leadership level.

I could be wrong but I think Catholics could lend money to non-catholics.
It’s just there wasn’t much of a market in Christian countries cause they were the majority. Jews were the minority and had way more opportunities.

Isaac was one of the great Fathers of the Jewish religion and Jesus is counted as one of his descendants.
The descendants of Isaac and Ishmael have been fighting each other literally since the days of Jacob as both sides look at Abraham as their Father. The promised land was originally given to Abraham, therefore both sides believe they have a claim on the land.

It's not an "original sin" but basically their God's chosen people and ungodly people hate that.
Satan and his puppets are always trying to destroy Gods people and generally trying desperately to prevent mankind from knowing God's grace. Anti Christian sentiment is rising and will soon be on the same level as anti jewish sentiment.

They were treated just like anyone else who got in the way of the Babylonians, Assyrians, Egyptians, Persians, Greeks or Romans. Times were tough back then for everyone. You ever see any Hittites or Elamites or Perezites around anymore?

I'm not religious. So, jot that down.
they do have some -very- fked up immoral beliefs from the Talmud, so jot that down, too.
What gives religion a bad name is religion itself. Jesus himself didn't ascribe to one type of church, but praised the Father. Would YOU go and worship in a jewish temple? Have you? Would they let you?
you're right, if the bible is all true... we wouldn't have a savior if not for the role they played. that doesn't make me have to LIKE them or accept their ways. their ways are messed up.

Jesus was Jewish and kept the Commandments. In today's world, he'd be considered Orthodox. I've been to synagogue and they do welcome you even though you aren't Jewish. Orthodox Judaism may not be the same though, not sure, as I've never been to one. There are at least 2 strains of Judaism.

This is a problem for me. For all my life I've been told that a land based on ethnic inclusion of a people and exclusion of others was bad. After all, we are all the same regardless of color or culture and must mix. To think otherwise is racist and nationalist. Why are Jews the exception?
