Either one sounds better than Nizmo.

The Frontier is objectively a better truck than the Tacoma, right now.

The Titan was massively underappreciated. Especially the 1st Gen.

Nissan has better SUVs than Honda at the moment. There's nothing in Honda's lineup that sells like the Rogue does. The CRV ain't it.

I'd love to see a redesigned Pathfinder that actually is, you know, a Pathfinder. This crossover BS, in the SUV market, isn't a good fit. Give me a 4 dr, two row, angular SUV with the corner pocket handles and a 6spd, 4wd, and I'll be on the lot tomorrow.

I always wondered why my grandpa said Krogers

Didn’t know it was a thing. Who the hell started that?

The way it was explained to us is that California and the other states that use CARB standards are 50% of the overall market in the US.

Therefore if we don't have EV's ready we are essentially cutting sales in half by not having product to sell in those states.

I'm not arguing the logic or infrastructure issues that EV's will create, it is just the way corporate sees things. They sell to dealerships in each state, and if ICE vehicles are illegal to sell in those states then how do you make up those sales?

Would love to see an AcuraInfinti sports sedan mash up. They both do different things very well.

I think Mazda might get wrapped into this too.

It wasn't great for them with Ford. They were just Fords.

They've been making better cars independently. But they are small and vulnerable.

Nissan is straight trash. I guess there's economies of scale that can be realized...but there's not a single Nissan product I'd pick over a honda. Except maybe the Frontier over the Ridgeline.

Mistake.

Nissan will sink Honda. It’s too big of a dumpster fire.

You are right. Though I was wrong when I said Mazda, and its mitsu. Mazda has definently stepped up its game though. They have a vehicle released over in Japan/China that is supposed to be spectacular both visually and mechanically. I believe its the EZ-6.

I will say that a few months back I had to rent a nissan sentra, and it was for a trip that was 200+miles road trip. I thought it was fine from a simple basic perspective. For a 20-25k which is todays starter cheap price I would say it was good. I thought it was comfy, had the little kick I needed when I needed it, but didn't have any bells and whistles that has drastically increased our insurance rates.

Perhaps Honda sees it as a way to have a super cheap basic line as everything has just gotten out of control. Obviously a big part is the Japanese saving face piece of it, but if they want to actually still use it for a market.

Can you still use the Discovery card at Walmarts and Krogers?

Exactly. The Frontier comes with a V6, and has more features available than the Taco. The Pro4x trim is better equipped than the TRD, and I'm not sure it's particularly close. Comparing the ride and suspension is also an easy Frontier win.

Tacomas have gotten more mileage out of their reputation from 15 years ago. But the Frontier is the only one I'd go for if I were in the market for a new "compact" truck.

Not saying Tacos are bad. Just that the Frontier is oft-overlooked, and shouldn't be. It's a rock solid vehicle.

I've got a 1st Gen Titan that I'm pretty sure would survive a nuclear bomb.
