Anyone who can afford a tattoo, can afford to not have my money.

There are some cities, especially resort towns (Aspen, for example), that have subsidized teacher housing.

Thanks to Dems letting people squat and general trashy people, the nicer apartments now have more paperwork/process than a mortgage.

I clicked his gofundme link and son of a bitch if he hasn't raised $13k.

It seems like of it weren’t so hard to evict someone, the landlords wouldn’t require high credit scores. Low score people would be given a chance and rents would be lower because i’m assuming landlords would rather let places sit empty for a while than let someone move in who they will have to allow to squat for years.

There are always private party landlords who won't do checks though.

Agreed.

Life is about choices, and this dolt obviously makes really bad choices. Not exactly the kind of person I want trying to teach my children.

If you're so broke that you're begging for money, then don't waste what precious money you have on crap you don't absolutely need to survive.

Clearing his debt won't immediately raise his credit score though. It'll help.

My oldest makes more than a teacher, has considerable savings, but I have to cosign leases with her because the required income level of some of the leasing companies are freaking ridiculous.

They would essentially never lease to a single nurse, teacher, junior military officer, etc. You'd need over $85k a year or something stupid to even sign a lease for a $1,200 apartment.

ETA- yeah, that guy is gross. Sorry I put this rant in this thread.

Homeless with only $13k in debt and horrible credit makes me wonder if he has filed bankruptcy to clear other debts he didn’t pay.

I’m guessing maybe he is stuck with student loan debt because it didn’t get discharged in bankruptcy and some 20% interest buy her pay here loan on his POS car he got post discharge.

Live somewhere where you can lease an apartment for less than $1200 or find a roommate.

Why’s his credit score so bad. That’s the question.

Because Jill told him to stop paying his bills and Papa Joe would cover it.

I think its weird that a grown man goes down the career path of being grade school teacher. I DO think kids should be exposed to a good masculine authority figure, but I doubt those kinds of men want to be teaching 4th graders unless they are PE teachers.
