He has a debt of $13,000??? That doesn't seem like enough to cripple you. Maybe don't live in Austin, TX.

About what I imagined before even clicking on the link. Grown arse man with fingernails painted green, rainbow stickers all over “his” car, and teaching fourth grade. If my kid is in his class I am immediately pulling them out before they get groomed.

There are plenty of options between renting a corporate apartment and sleeping in your car - roommates, extended stay hotels, renting someone's spare bedroom, etc...
This guy probably watched some of those Youtube videos of millennials who "live out of a Prius" and thought it would be a cool idea. He doesn't realize they are doing it for clicks and views to make money and reality is going to set in fast when he learns about the hygiene and ergonomic consequences of car life.
