Home printer recommendations where ink lasts more then 10 pages

Cheap ink.

Switched at work. It’s great.

For the price of two toners and two drums you can get a great epson. Then ink is like $20(?) and it lasts. It’s a tube for an easy refillable cartridge.

Canon Pixma 6000 or 3270, both have worked great for us, we have printed over 1000 pages and still on the first bottles of ink, the ink is easy to add and not expensive.

Have a 15 year old cheap laser HP that gets probably 1000 pages out of a cartridge

Another vote for Epson. I love the ink reservoir instead of the cartridges.

I have a cannon pixma something or other that has tanks you refill rather than cartridges. I highly recommend this type.

Brother laser printer for almost every situation. Just choose color or B&W and any other features you need. They are so much more reliable than an inkjet it is almost funny. The cost per page is also significantly lower.

The exceptions are if you want to do photo printing or print on specialty papers/cardstock. The other situation is if you only print a few pages a month and would never recoup the extra upfront cost, but based on the OP's running out of ink comment, that isn't relevant to them.
