Coat to provide that to you? About $2 including labor.

$20,tix…. Cheapest one around here is like $13-14 I think.

I do have a “discount program” thing they woke where I can get movie tavern tickets for half off- so not bad.

I’m pretty sure it was when the last Top Gun movie was released. How long ago was that? A year?

"Top Gun-Maverick" was the last of the series and it came out in 2022.

Movies were always the place to bring a date and you couldn't look cheap when trying to impress. Glad those days are past for me because trying to impress the ladies these days by not looking cheap can be very costly.

Come for the movie, stay for the rat shows. I just cancelled my Movie Club membership- I can’t see myself going back in that building any time soon.

The Membership is a pretty good deal if the theater was cleaner- monthly fee basically pays for 1 ticket, online fees are waived and you get 20% off concessions. The tickets accrue for up to a year, so I always have credits when the kids wanted to go with friends.

Damn. It’s been longer than I thought since I went to the movies.

That price is insane. I usually just skip the snacks now because it costs more than the actual ticket. Just eat before you go.

Movie ticket prices remind me of the debacle with Audubon trying to double their prices overnight and everyone complained so they walked it back. These greedy idiots don't get supply/demand economics . Raising prices doesn't necessarily = more money. If you raise too much, you kill demand and make less money. There's a ton of people that can afford to go to the movies but refuse to out of principle. Why pay $100 for a family of 4 for a movie that will be free streaming in a couple weeks? Sure, the movie theater experience is fun, but not THAT fun

Imagine proving yourself to be insecure, unintelligent, and a jackass in just a few words. Way to go kiddo.

$38 for carbonated water, a couple squirts of soda syrup, a handful of popcorn kernels, some salt and butter. It should be $3.50.

3-6 months sure.

What they need to do is push back the streaming dates even longer, especially for big movies.
