Holly Clegg's family posted on her Facebook page a little while ago that the doctors have stopped further treatments.

Her cancer has continued to spread in spite of aggressive chemo treatments and now the goal is to keep her as comfortable as possible.

She is at MD Anderson in Houston.

BR area cook who appears on a lot of shows. I believe her husband owns / owned Clegg’s Nursery too.

Don't know of her, but this is sad news. Cancer may eventually get just about everyone, if you don't die of a heart attack first.

Treatments are improving every day. The amount of research put into cancer treatments/cures is staggering.

Treatments are improving but the rate of incidence is scary. Oncology departments are getting over crowded.

Might be a result of more awareness which leads to more people being diagnosed earlier.

said this the other day in the thread about tumor. These no signs shite scare me to death.
You see someone just fine a few days later you hear they're diagnosed with cancer, then it's they gave him/her "x months/years" to live. frick

3 immediate family members 12, 11 and 8 months diagnosis to dead. All different cancers, all in last 4 years.

Yeah, it’s scary.

Not neccessily, though I hope in her and everyone's case it works out.

MD Anderson is world-renowned, but there is a dark side to MD Anderson.
