I bet the HOA president is a parent. What better way to make sure your kid/s get extra big candy than to ask members to use smaller candy and create a ruckus. They gonna bring a haul in this year.

Who is handing out full sized candy bars now a days?
Unless you buying a club pack at Sam’s, those bitches run anywhere from 1.50 to two dollars retail.
Heck even the multi packs of smaller candies are high.
There was one Facebook comedic video of a man at the store looking at candy prices and immediately pulling the Halloween stuff down and putting the Christmas stuff out and turning off the porch light.
Unless you buying a club pack at Sam’s, those bitches run anywhere from 1.50 to two dollars retail.

The first year in my current house, I bought full sized and fun sized candy bars. Told every kid they could have one full sized or three fun sized. Some snatched one or the other immediately, but damn was it fun watching the wheels turn for the ones who didn't

It may not be. I searched all over the internet, and the only source for this is an X post. Nowhere to be found is the name of the neighborhood, address, etc. Just another fake social media outrage. It's not that I don't think some HAO would ever do this, I just don't appreciate the attempt at manipulation, IF it's fake. The jury is still out on this one, I guess.
