My daughter put the chalk on so thick that yesterday’s storm didn’t wash it off. She didn’t do it on the sidewalk. She chalked the entire cul de sac.

Seems like dueling Karen’s to me. One Karen thinks she’s in charge of everything, the other thinks her precious little daughter’s shitty chalk work is art. Screw em both.
The drawing looks like crap anyway. Shoulda just let the sprinklers wash it away.

I'm really torn here. I don't know who I loathe more:
a) HOA's, or
b) Soccer moms, who teach their children that chalk art can address real world problems.

I'd got draw a huge penis on the driveway of the HOA director.

It looks trashy. I'd have made her clean it up myself. Shame the HOA had to do the parenting for her.

Bunch of hens.
It is unsightly. She couldn't even get the font the same size or level the words. Gross.

I don't really care for kids, but it makes me smile when I go walking and see sidewalk chalk. Good to see the little farts got off Tick-Twit or Facechat and played outside.
When I hear the HOA met and discussed, I'm amazed there was not one person who said, "Guys, this is kind of silly, and it will make us look like overbearing jerks." Probably some thought it, but there was an aggressive a-hole leader who no one wanted to cross. Just like no one at work tells the spiteful boss that his idea is bad.

The HOA sucks arse, but let’s look at a different issue in this story:
Never, I mean NEVER miss out on the opportunity to play victim on social media. As soon as she posted this, she got over 1000 shares?!?! Holy frick man they might give her one of those blue checkmark things on facebook
This is your one chance fancy don’t let me down

Seaton posted the letter to Facebook, and the reaction was immediate. It’s been shared more than 1,000 times. That, she said, has been a double-edged sword. Hundreds of strangers have encouraged and supported Kennedy. “It shows there’s good people and goodness in the world,’’ Seaton said.
Some neighbors, however, had asked Seaton to drop the issue fearing it would make their neighborhood look bad. “There’s been a lot of pressure for me to delete the post, but I want my daughter to know it’s important to be kind and uplifting.” Shortly after this article published, Seaton received an apology call from the president of the association.
