The fact that she managed to resist the urge to improperly turn "your" into a contraction should ensure it gets to stay.

Correct. Very few would reverse that original decision.

My buddy lives in riverchase, not the townhomes, they apparently got an email basically saying we are not affiliated with those townhome pricks and would never do this.

HOAs serve an important purpose in protecting home values with a shared space. Temporary sidewalk chalk will not hurt home values.

oil based paint...

Which is darned expensive.
Which will wash off of most concrete.

Surely they didn't buy the prep coat that's needed to make the oil base paint stick?

I couldn’t even imagine what it’s like to worry about your neighborhood looking bad.

I’m actually in awe of that statement.

I haven’t ever once thought about a person based on the neighborhood they live in

Thank God I'm not part of an HOA anymore. I got fined for some bull**** when I was part of one.

Imagine paying 300,400, or 500k for a home and then turning over all your power to do as you wish to your home to an HOA. People are straight retarded.

Then maybe you should ask what your dues are going towards if they aren't actually enforcing any laws? If we saw some little shithead going to chalk a sidewalk in this neighborhood, you better believe she'd catch 3 pepperball (tm) riot paintballs before that graffiti maker could touch the sidewalk

Halfway into this post I thought "wow, this is so purposely contrarian. It reads like an el Gaucho post."

Sure enough....

You sound like an absolutely miserable and terrible person to even think something like this. Please get help.

The biggest thing for her is now she feels like she’s done something wrong and that’s why it bothers me more than anything else because I don’t want her to think she did something wrong

I read this from the mother and figured the kid is five or six. Then I see the picture of the fricking teenager. Be a real parent, tell your kid the neighbors are assholes and give her the garden hose to spray that shite off the sidewalk. Don’t go posting on facebook and whining like a bitch. Shocked that the mother is a lawyer. You damaged my daughter for life lawsuit incoming.
