I thought the same thing. This person may have already sought out the services of a lawyer beforehand.

I don’t think I could hit somebody like that in my car if I wanted to. Most new cars have pedestrian braking.

Not sure about where this hit and run occurred, but down here in Terrebonne/Lafourche there are so many out of town contractors driving big trucks, it wouldn't surprise me if the hit and run driver are not from around here.

Im sure the person who did this, had got to be sweating. They are definitely closing in.

What have they closed in on besides the make of the vehicle?

So sorry for your loss. Any idea why this young lady was out walking next to the road or where she may have been going?

Leah was in a car with her roommate and another friend when they got into an argument. She (willingly) got out of the car and started walking.

Unfortunately, that bad decision, made in the heat of the moment cost her her life.

This is a fairly common story. Happens way more than it should.

Senseless. I'm sorry for your loss.

Just a few years back there was a high schooler that got hit on his bike further down Jefferson in pville by Sammy's.

Yea that was a sad story. That kid was going to see his father. Parents were divorced. The dad died about a year after.

Looks like they got him.

Whoever had "baw from Prairieville" as the suspect got it spot on. Glad they caught that loser so the girl's family can now have some closure.

POS said he thought he hit an animal. License was probably suspended for previous DUI and he was probably drinking and driving again.
