Hillar Moore. You should not be the DA.

I’ve known you for over 30 years and most of your family. You’re a good person but you should not be the DA. You’re too soft on crime. You’re too nice.
Obviously nothing wrong with being a good/nice person but you can’t let that interfere with the job you were elected to do. I had hoped you would put aside your criminal defense attorney hat when you got elected but it’s just not in your nature. You’re not doing what a DA is supposed to do. Hopefully the next one will.
I don’t expect you to resign over this murder or the out of control crime in BR in general, I just ask that you be more tougher than you have been until BR can elect another DA.
I get that judges and the mayor shoulder blame as well for the situation, but you’re the DA. The prosecutor of State crimes in EBR. The criminal defense attorneys do their job for their clients. Please do your job for the citizens that elected you.

The DAs are just a part of this broken system and Hillar Moore is a huge reason crime in Baton Rouge has skyrocketed over the last decade or two.
Nice people don’t allow criminals to go free and terrorize others. Weak people do that, which is what he is. He helps no one but himself and has no spine. That isn’t a “good person”.

Unfortunately, true.
Whoever gets elected next will be pulling Trudy White shite and campaigning on having crooks releases to go home sooner than before. And win because that is a huge percentage of the EBR Parish population as of now.

He’s never been a great DA. Not bad, but nothing better than average. People keep voting for him due to his name.
