Trust me on this.

Anyone that replaces Moore will be so much worse.

Hillar Moore ran against Dan Claitor in 2008 to replace Doug Moreau.

His replacement is likely to be a Soros funded Jason Williams clone. Do you think that’s better?

Obviously not but Hillar will one day not run again.

The shooting of the LSU co-ed and the running gun battle on Hundred Oaks will get the "right" people's attention. Crime is now in the neighborhood of BR's mover-and-shakers and monied elite. This will not be allowed to continue.

Speaking of replacing Doug Moreau, has anybody heard him lately on the LSU football broadcasts? He was kind of hard to listen to during last night's post-game program.

How much better would Claitor have been?

Well at least he was a prosecutor at one time.

Some of the ADAs when Moreau retired had the experience and connections to make a run but I guess they didn’t want to roll the dice. Some still work as ADAs. Maybe they will think about running when Hillar is gone. By then they will have a nice pension and not have to risk that.

there are even better stories about a different Moore kid.

His daughter used to come hang out after hours at the bar I worked at in BR years ago. She was fun to be around.

I'll say that Prem Burns could rock a tight skirt and high-heeled pumps back in the day.

on2954That’s not the DAs job. Lol Stop electing the same shitty, easy on crime judges.

I can’t vote for all the judges. I can vote for the DA and the mayor.
You can do your job and lead the community, it’s not an either or.
If the DA sees the public interest isn’t being served he can keep quiet and keep the status quo, or he csn use his platform to educate snd effect change.

Power to dispense justice (and she did) looked good on her. No doubt.

Well said. One hell of a defense attorney but not as the prosecuting district attorney in this day and age of our society.

Our Judges are elected not appointed. Seems like you would know this.

There's a big part of the outskirts of the parish like central and zachary that are if they can flip enough of the folks in the city with an anti crime message there's a chance we need younger candidates than Bodi White and the late Steve Carter
