Hottest place on that map appears to be Omaha. Hopefully we have the boys hydrated sufficiently.

I’ve been out in the BR sun all day, and it’s brutal. Matter of fact, I just climbed out of an attic that was so hot, the attic fold out steps would burn your hand.

Midwest and Northeast weather is the worst. It gets just as hot in the summer. But while our winters days have highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s they have weeks where it barely gets above freezing.

I worked in SF for many years. Yes, the summers can get chilly, but the month of October has “Indian Summer” with temps frequently in the mid-70s to low 80s.

I have seen summer days when it was 65 in SF and 90 in Concord, which is in the East Bay.

Let’s start with sourdough bread, cioppino, the internet, Silicon Valley, the fortune cookie, the beat generation, the Grateful Dead, Santana, Alcatraz (badass), wineculture w a frickton of vineyards nearby, and maybe the sickest Chinatown in the US. Also, the Golden Gate Bridge.

Did u want to add more to your Kentucky list?

the beat generation,
More New York City than San Francisco not that San Francisco didn't become a beat generation destination

but while atcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge and guys in the Navy being kicked out because of central perversion and dumped in San Francisco do belong to San Francisco

you can't give the beat generation to San Francisco and I'm from the Bay Area

The entire East Coast is humid. Not humid like here, but it's not like you're in Arizona.

I don't know why people here talk about humidity as if it's something unique to Louisiana. It's humid pretty much everywhere East of the Rocky Mountains

In California you can drive an hour and be in a completely different climate, like from low seventies to upper nineties. Here, you can leave Laffy and it's hot and get to BR and it's still hot.

It's different on the Gulf Coast, which is classified a "Subtropical" climate for good reason.

Today, for example, in NY it's around 90 and people are complaining about the humidity.

However, I walked around my neighborhood for 30 minutes this afternoon and didn't break a sweat and it was kind of pleasant.

On the Gulf Coast, you're soaked in 5 minutes when it's 90 degrees in the summer and feel like you're trying to breathe through a wet blanket.

Angry ranter is angry. Aside from her insufferable ideology, if Kamala sleeps around as much as you seem to infer, wouldn't that make her the equivalent of an alpha male? A "guy who closes"?

The San Francisco Bay Area was where Thrash Metal basically started. And it’s been downhill there ever since

Yes and “dry heat” is still heat, like an oven.
