San Francisco use to be a beautiful city. But decades of radical leftist rule has left it overrun with thugs, homeless junkies, and perverts. They’re killing the city.

quote:

San Francisco's population declined by nearly 34,000 residents over the past five years, ranking it among the top four counties with the largest declines during that time, according to new U.S. Census Bureau estimates released last week.

The decrease of 33,723 residents during that time placed San Francisco in stark company: only Los Angeles (losing 249,646 residents), Cook County (37,907), and Baltimore counties (37,507 residents) experienced larger numerical declines across the entire United States over this period

As sick and shitty as California is politically and socially, it’s undefeated in natural beauty and weather.

How would you describe Alabama?

It’s politically and socially conservative which aligns with my values.

It’s more naturally beautiful and diverse than people realize but it can’t touch California and many western and mountain states for scenery and weather.

Alabama has its warts just like Louisiana and other poor southern states, but it’s my home and I love it.

Yes, yes they are.

You do not hear people complaining "Damn, more Kentuckians moving into this city."

South Park is kinder to the South East than to Californians (probably because of how Colorado has been changed by Ca moving east, but not too far east.)

San Fran has horrible weather IMO.

LA and SD different story.

But you can keep misty with fog and 62 half the year.

I’ve been to San Fran in the summer. At night you need a jacket or heavy sweatshirt.

Yea, it’s pretty miserable. Give me a summer heat in the south over a subway station when it’s 100 degrees in NYC.

I was excited about moving from Baton Rouge to South Bend 20 years ago because I thought I was going to escape the heat.

That is not how it worked out.

All 4 west coast cities look very inviting.

No, thanks, I'd rather endure heat, humidity, and hurricanes.

I've lived in the Bay Area my entire life. I always marvel at tourists shivering their way across the Golden Gate Bridge in tank tops, shorts and flip-flops on a mid July afternoon when the fog is pouring in, the wind is blowing at 35 miles an hour, its 52 degrees will a wind chill of about 45.

There is a cool thing about the City, it can be foggy, windy and misserably cold in the Sunset, but sunny, still and temperate in North Beach/China Town, all within a 15 miute drive of each other.

I was there last week and we froze our nuts off. It's way colder than people think. It was upper 50's and windy in June. No thank you

Despite it's crazy politics, it still has one of the strongest regional economies in the country. Silicon Valley isn't going anywhere as long as Stanford is in Palo Alto.
