Does it contain thimerosol? Mercury? Would there be a risk of neurodevelopment disorder? Is there aluminum, formaldehyde, any glycols? Any encephalitis warnings? There is so much that can go wrong.

The Hep B vaccine has been around since the 80s, if that helps.

Most vaccines are unneeded until age 5-6. And then, only a few of those on the official schedule of vaccines.

You might think he's a kook, but RFK Jr is very on-point on this issue. Just watch some of his stuff and then decide.

I think recent history of the covid vaccine clusterfrick should remove any thinking human from feeling "awkward" about questioning doctors.

Or maybe you remember that your doctor isn't a DC bureaucrat and maybe they can actually advise you from a real world "in the trenches" viewpoint. My doctor gave me hydrocloroquine for Covid which the bureaucrats later forbid. He never said get the Covid vaccine but has rolled his eye at me for not getting the flu shot when I had the flu and pneumonia last year. If he told me to get a vaccine, I would.

Using the combination of your doctor's knowledge of the vaccinations, disease risks, and your child's health history and risk factors is an under-rated heuristic for making health decisions.

Doctors know little to nothing about vaccines or nutrition. There are some that do, but most know absolutely jack shite.

Or be an illegal alien. They aren't vaxxed at all and they have already caused several measles outbreaks in many locations already.

I can guarantee they know more about them than you do.

You remind me a lot of clients who thought something was true because they read it on the internet. Several times a year I have to explain to families that the will their parent printed off the internet isn't valid in Louisiana. Or the LLC they formed with the state online was done wrong because of the selections they made.

Yes, you can do somethings online but maybe you should check with someone who does it every day.

Good for you for questioning the necessity for offered vaccines. Unfortunately, the fact that you are questioning whether every single vaccine available to mankind is necessary for a newborn, you are now labeled as an anti-vaxxer. Welcome to the club of intelligent, aware gentlemen.

Do your research and if you trust your pediatrician, ask for guidance on which ones are necessary. Most doctors don't believe every vaccine is necessary or healthy. They are anti-vaxxers according to the left.

I often google shite and then convince myself that I know more than the professionals.

The Amish are the healthiest group in the world.

One of the things they don't do is vaccines.

The funny thing to me is that had Trump won 2020 he would have pimped vaccines because warp speed was his policy and patriots would be gigavaxed.

The anti-vax left would have been the ones questioning big pharma and Trump

I specifically remember people on CNN saying "Should we trust a rushed Trump vaccine?"

Why exactly would your new born be exposed to hep B?

That is completely unnecessary

A lawyer rests right above my ex wife on the list of people I consider a waste of skin.

Given she ended up with nothing in the divorce, I would say literacy is considerably more important than having an attorney 99% of the time.

Doctor's are just Sales Associates for Big Pharma.
Why do you think they have so many annoying drug commercials on the Tee Vee?
"Ask your doctor if you're a candidate..." Of course he'll say YES.

Before COVID a lot more far leftists were anti-vaxxers than any other American sub-group. They had a fricking measles outbreak in Portland

Then COVID happened, and the right was the side calling into question the vaccine, and that has led to an interesting and rare switch-team from both sides when it comes to all vaccines.

Amazing how fast the political pendulum can swing. For a long time, up until 8 years ago, it was the Democrat party that was associated with conspiracy theorists – old hippies saying "it's the MAN man" and fringe X Files weirdos. Now it's the Republican party that has the title all wrapped up.

MAGA has even stolen the "evil globalists" narrative from the Democrats and run far with it.

Why would a newborn need a vaccine for a virus transmitted sexually?

Banging kids is a sexual preference and will be included in the rainbow alphabet soon. Better vax those babies before the LGBTQIA++KF find them.

Of course your doctor will recommend it because the CDC recommends it. The CDC also recommends that a 6 month old get a Covid vaccine. How does that make any sense?

You might want to compare the US vaccine schedule to a country like Denmark whose regulatory agencies may not have the revolving door issue the US does.

Vaccines cannot be undone. They may affect the immune system, beyond the target disease, either beneficially or detrimentally. Research non-specific effects of vaccines.

Unfortunately vaccines seem to be a sacred cow and any questioning of them is verboten.

Congratulations on your newborn.

If you’re worried about the number of vaccines at 1 time, ask them to space it out- it just means more trips to the doctor for you, which may not be a problem. That vaccine is old and proven, and to me, there’s very little downside. But my kids are 13 & 16, so I haven’t had to make that decision in a very long time.

Mazel. Everything your wife sees on social media that involves "safety" triggers woman brain. Billions of dollars a year go to this shite. Safety means helmets to re-shape their heads, but parents are driving around with their toddlers in the front seat standing up (every fing day)?

Be aware, that doctors that are contracted by large health systems (in Houston, it is Methodist, Memorial Hermann, you're probably Oschner or similar) are not allowed to stray from the health system line about what treatments or preventatives are effective. They don't get a choice in what they can suggest.

I’m on the fence about this vaccine

Have your wife tested for Hepatitis B,maybe have yourself tested. If both of you are negative how in the hell would an infant catch Hep B.Would an infant have robust enough immune system to make antibodies to Hep B antigen? That’s anther question to ask the Dr.

Most likely your pediatrician is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics,67,000 of them are.
Interesting factoid-one of their “partners” they recieve funding from is GlaxoSmithKline which so happens to make Hep A and B vaccines, among many others. They accept funding from other drug companies.

AAP has argued in support of gender-affirming care for transgender children, including use of puberty blockers.

During the Covid pandemic ,supported mask mandates and mass Covid vaccination of children, even though Covid rarely caused serious illness in children,
Covid is still on their list of recommended vaccines at 6 months and age 7.

Hep B,the recommendation is newborn,1month and 6 months.Again, how is a baby going to catch Hep B if neither of you are carriers.

I would urge you to read RFK,Jr.’s book Vax-Unvax.RFK gets a bad rap for being anti vaccine.I don’t think that is true after reading his book. His concern is the safety of vaccines and the paucity of testing that goes on in the vaccine industry,,FDA and CDC,both short term and long term effects of the large numbers of vaccines on the recommended list.
In 1986 there were 25 doses of various vaccines given on childhood vaccination schedule,in 2023 there are 73 doses.

Prior to reading his book I was a staunch believer of vaccines and assumed they were rigorously tested for safety. RFK reveals that is absolutely not true.Every claim he makes he has a footnote backing up everything he claims.
Again read the book and decide for yourself.

Another book I recommend is “sickening”HOW BIG PHARMA BROKE AMERICAN HEALTH CARE by John Abramson,MD.He was a family physician for 22 years and on faculty of Harvard Medical School for 25 years.
