My mother had an old Accord that had several of those issues.
Believe it or not, a new gas cap cured the issue. It may not be your fix, but it is cheap to replace and worth the effort.

Lots of good suggestions here.
With those kind of miles the throttle body, intake, and egr system are in need of a good cleaning. There is no doubt they are carboned up.
As others have stated, disable VCM entirely, it is a source of nothing but troubles and will lead to excessive oil burning, plug fouling, and other issues.
Are you using OEM coils or what you get off Amazon and eBay? There is a difference and the fact that you are reporting replacing the same coil 2x might be a clue. Same goes for O2 sensors.
Another problem is replacement parts quality has gone down post Covid, the supply chain is still screwed up. All the more reason to source parts carefully.
Hope this helps.

It’s always the fuel pump or bypass line full of gunk. Check those first.

I was going to mention this. My neighbor replaced all 6 coils on a Toyota with no-names and within 25,000 miles every one of them had failed.
I won't wade in further since several people seem to know the quirks of the Honda 6 in question but id replacing the coils did fix the issue for some period of time I would like to know what the spark plug's electrode and ground strap looked like when removed.

Put a piece of black tape over the light. Problem solved.
You must have a Jeep. I learned mine runs better with the CEL on.

Make sure they are genuine NKG plugs and not disguised knock offs. Those wear out electrodes and fail in short order. Also as others say always go with OEM or OEM part manufacturer replacements on ignition coils.
It's amazing how close some of the fakes look to the geniuine components. On the NKG website they used to show a guide on how to spot the counterfeit knock offs.

Is it a Vtec Honda? Could be the solenoid.
At 200k miles I would want all new coils and plugs. And injectors.
But variable timing issues can misfire if the vtec or (furor the technical name) solenoid or sensors or bad. Should get a variable timing error code.

I have to ask about when the CEL comes on and the engine is rough. You say you replace some coils and plugs-does this make it run smoothly again? I suspect the answer is yes. If this is the case then I suggest replacing all ignition coils with HONDA brand coils and replace spark plugs with factory(NGK) plugs. Start from this point and move forward before looking any further.

I have had 3 hondas and that is nothing for mileage. My little hybrid honda I use now for work has 207,000 miles and still runs like a champ. I will use it til the wheels fall off. It's sole purpose is to get me to and from work.

I bought a Honda in 2020 it was a 2012 Odyssey. It had 120k miles.
I will be crossing 230k later this year.
Engine runs smooth after changing the plugs last year. I also changed the starter this year.
I am hopeful to go another 100k miles in it before it blows up or car prices crash to pre pandemic levels.
