My coworker - and good friend - and I were having a discussion about whether or not he should confront an ex or not. A little back story - a few weeks ago they hooked up quite a few times using no protection. As for her, after her second child she had her tubes tied and has been like that for 5 years now.

She is now in a relationship with a guy who can't have kids. However, a couple of days ago she called my friend and told him she missed a period and was late. As in late late. Naturally, this freaked my friend out because this would make for a nightmarish situation.

Now, yesterday they are talking on the phone and of course she is having trouble with this guy and turns to my friend. There is a small, insignificant argument which ends quickly. He point blank asked her if she really was late to which she said yes. Not more than 10 minutes later she calls him back and said "I just went to the bathroom and my period came so you can now rest easy."

I told him that was a lie. Either she lied from the beginning for reasons known only to her or she lied at the end. But my gut is telling me he is being lied to. So, what should be do?

To lie is one thing, but to lie about possibly being pregnant is a whole different ball game. And a pretty low one at that.

Bitches lie about periods all the time, plus she’s his fricking ex anyway.

He has two choices:
PIIHB
Don’t ever talk to her again

Just get over it and move on. shite happens. There's obviously a reason she is his ex. Let him enjoy the brief "fricked my ex" moment and get back to reality.

No harm, no foul

Your “friend” is a trashy mofo. And since birds of a feather flock together then you too are a trashy mofo.

Congrats on all your trashy

He’s banging an ex who is cheating on her current partner, and he expects her to be honest?

No, he shouldn’t confront her. He should wear a condom or accept that she’s having sex with a lot of men.

He needs to call her out. Tell her he is blocking any communications with her and if she continues this charade and tries to see him he will get a restraining order.

Wtf is this Bs. You said she had her tubes tied? That means she can’t get pregnant, so why would he worry about missing her period? She was trying to say she missed her period with her tubes tied?

OP may as well be worried about what his 'friend's ex-es SO' (I THINK I did that correctly) is wearing to work today....

Guy dodged a bullet and she is probably crazy and has 2 kids..

Why is there a question?

Tell your friend he is fricktarded for messing with an ex who was in a new relationship. Why pick at old wounds? All you get is an infection.

Why can’t he have kids? This sounds suspect

I think we've all learned a valuable lesson here, tubes tied or not, always finish on her face.
