Got put on a panel and sent to a courtroom. I got lucky and was not picked. It was a civil case.
But!! I have to call after 5pm and see if the need me tomorrow. So it's like I'm on call all week?

My wife is self-employed. We siphon off earnings each month to cover typical leave situations (Illness, vacation, jury duty, etc.)
We also understand the “long” game of these situations.
