Still forecasting a major. That’s going to be some pretty rapid intensification. This will be interesting to watch.

Godspeed Florida friends.

Unless this is a Michael redux we should expect things to be relatively weak soon.

You affirm that post of mine every time you respond. 99% of your posts are insults. You are rather insecure and bitter. I pity you, really.

To the experts:
How much stock do you put in the newer HAFS models for intensity forecast?

That always happens when a storm passes through the waters about 150 miles west of Florida. That's usually the hottest waters in the Gulf of Mexico

Man this thing gonna dissipate or slam fla?
It’s going to be a significant storm, I’m just not buying a major hurricane
Probably Cat 1-2 imo
Good morning to all you baws

I hope this storm ends up being nothing. I would much rather read about "wish casting" and "nothing burger" than the opposite

My model predicted a panhandle landfall as a Cat 1 early on in the thread

Been busy and haven’t really followed. Hang in there Florida baws…hoping for the best for y’all.

I know Beryl zapped up some of this season’s ACE index. Maybe this one will but it back in the Above Normal category.

The amount of people moving here on a monthly basis is actually quite surprising so it’s mostly the “this is my first hurricane season people” then all the Sally people respond accordingly and the locals sort of calm them down and set everyone straight.

HWRF still very bullish. 922mb and 145mph winds before landfall.
HAFS A/B still taking it up to Category 5.

Hope the models miss this and it’s not nearly as bad as the doomcasting. I don’t wish this on anybody.

60 ish hours away from landfall.

Please dissipate. I can’t imagine what my friend and charter captain in Horseshoe Beach is thinking. Cursed or something. They have taken major hits twice in two years and this one is on deck. Good Lord. Talked to him two weeks ago and he had just completed the repairs to his house from the last one. Big Bend is cursed.
