Afraid to check in with my family that I sent this thread yesterday for tracking.
The amount of people moving here on a monthly basis is actually quite surprising so it’s mostly the “this is my first hurricane season people” then all the Sally people respond accordingly and the locals sort of calm them down and set everyone straight.
Not sure where you’re at but in Pensacola gas stations were a heavy flow of traffic this morning and every Facebook group I’m in is talking about it.

Lots of transplants freaking out because they’ve never been through a storm.
Ivan had a 10-15 ft surge, not sure what they were predicting before it hit but it took out the I10 bridge.
Mom’s across the inter coastal from Ono. A window blew out so she’s stuck in her office, riding it out.

Anybody have a good guess when this will be done with Perdido/Orange Beach?

I could do some basic math but hoping someone has a more informed idea when this thing gets done with my mom’s house.
Does this mean Westminster area can go back to sleep?
Facebook is working on a project to track your precise location at all times through your mobile phone.

I was looking for some online work so I signed up for this company that lets you do freelance jobs online. One of the jobs was to use this facebook link to log your exact location and time for the entire day. So when you were driving, what time you arrived at a location, and what time you left the location. You had to account for all 24 hours of the day of your location.

The conditions were you had to have the Facebook app on your phone and location services on. :dunno:
You can call LSUPD. There are LSU staff and an officer who go around on gameday shutting down unlicensed products and solicitations.
