For the people who lived through a bad hurricane (e.g., >90% of the people in your area lost power), how long did it take for the internet to return?

Not on the course but on the edges and along the guest cabins
I think that pic is from the guest cabins near 10 tee

They have internal roads and a few black asphalt paths over there by the cabins but where do they have that actual cart path with raised bumps?

Recently Beryl knocked out a lot of internet service. Comcast was hit really hard. I guess maybe a hub or servers? Anyway, I have Comcast internet and it was out from Monday morning till Saturday almost 2 weeks later. It depended on where you lived, but much was out for over a week. I got power before internet. We previously had not lost internet during bad storms.

Agreed. There is no town of Lake Lure. That’s the lake by Chimney Rock. Anyone remotely familiar with this area knows this.
ETA…okay, there is a Lake Lure incorporated. I’ve been all over that area and wasn’t aware of this as most locals refer to Chimney Rock unless you’re 1 of the 1,600 in LL incorporated.

You seem that you do not know the area very well at all and the Mayor of Lake Lure you might want to reach out to.
The town was established in 1927
Here is the number for the Town of Lake Lure828-625-9983
