Guess that also means no Star Fish or Swordfish (maybe because its slightly elvated).

Mara Vista probably went under too.

I’ve never seen CMU piers simply tip over like that.

Mara

I can only guess. I have not seen any reports from them but they are in the same area and elevation. Starfish probably floated away.

The Rod and Reel pier on AMI is gone and will be years and years before they rebuild it. That little island is a major power/money struggle between board members and they cant do anything quick.

The AMI city pier took years to decide what to do while me, you and three mexicans could have rebuilit it in a month

This map is a joke. Storm is no where near the path projected over land. Why don’t haven’t they corrected this?

Right, the places around it survived. Something was wrong with the construction of that building.

We can ride our bikes to Mara Vista so I'm a little worried about our area. Our house is elevated so no water but its going to suck for a good while down there.

Not like it takes much to rebuild what was there.

Strange storm. A CAT4 but nowhere on land were winds like that recorded. The surge , however was as advertised unfortunately.

Our weather folks locally (Kentucky) are showing on their models it’s going to hook back.

I don’t know how much that has to do with the front that’s already here from the West. They’re telling us locally that we’ll get a band of some heavy wind between 1-5 pm-ish (ET). We’ve already been getting gusts in the 40-50 mph range.

They look like wood. But its hard to tell from the picture. Whatever they're made of, looks like they were separate members anchored to a footing, instead of being a solid member driven to refusal.
