Help me out a bit with the radar image. What is the red indicating? Wind speed? Heavy rains?
From the NOAA page:
quote:
JSL JSL JSL2 enhancement - developed by Jim Lynch. Used to bring out low level and high level clouds in tropical cyclones
The red is higher clouds which presumably generate the convection and potential heavy rainfall. The gray is lower clouds but can still produce rainfall in a super-moist environment like a tropical cyclone.

One of the Tampa Bay water levels to watch. It will be low tide in 3 hours then will rise along with the surge.
Level is about 3.35 feet above normal falling tide currently.

Being w family and a generator is a good call w 2 yr old. Sorry, I just remember coworkers in mid GA occasionally predicting chaos and looting coming to ATL and preaching to be prepared for it to migrate down to Macon and beyond. Didnt see your earlier post and suspected it might be typical GA chicken little. Hope they have fun w gramps.

She's not half bad when the picture is smaller and you half to squint a little. Hell, I'd almost qualify her as hot under those cirCUMstances
