Chances the rain will mess up some of the nat parks around westernmost NC? I know they have gotten a good bit of rain there already this year.
I would say the chances of that are pretty good. Looks like the mountains of north GA, western NC and eastern TN are going to get a ton of rain from this. Couple that with the winds and I imagine there will be a lot of trees down.

Probably wasn't going to happen this year anyway but I'd like to take my father down Heintooga Round Bottom Road. Definitely won't happen if there are a lot of trees down.

if not for the cold front this could have been really bad for New Orleans

me too, pretty wicked on the far north east bands rotating south and the other cloud interaction moving north.

So does that weaken it or strengthen it? Is that really bad for Florida?

Hate that for the Fall leaf watchers.

Impressive build up on the front side of the eye wall. Not sure it stops at a Cat 3.

Morgerman updated that the water is already rising in Panacea on Ochlockonee Bay. The storm is still 300 miles away.

Really don’t like the NH. Path on the West side of Atlanta….worse case scenario. Hopefully it keeps creeping East
